Dear Father,

How are you? Hope you are getting through Cleveland's winter. We have been receiving a lot of rain in LA. It is actually one of my favorite times of year here, because everything is so green.

Wanted to give you an update on my fundraising for Lance Armstrong's cancer foundation, Livestrong. I continue to dedicate every mile I walk to raising money for cancer research and awareness through this organization. I am currently in my tenth week of training with six more to go. The date of the LA Marathon is March 21, 2010.

When I did the NY Marathon last November, I raised $5,086. So far, for the LA Marathon, I have raised $760.50. If there are folks from the church who would like to donate to this cause, they can go to my personal fundraising page:
